60 rings printed with the e3d hot end with no problems and jams at al.

205 Deg Temp , first layer at 100% speed and the rest on 250%

So dont say that its not good for normal printing.

250 degrees is too hot for PLA. Something is wrong there.

Are you actually using this extruder mount? (which is what the topic is about).

Satoer,

Mate, trust me I tried everything. It was weeks of stuffing around with every conceivable option.

There is not much wrong with the Felix hot end. The main reason that they created the E3D was for very high temperatures where the PEEK melted (or didn't perform well). Most of us don't print over 250 degrees. You should not need that temperature for any of the common materials.

I have looked over some of the objects I printed with both hot ends they are both of the same quality. If anything the Felix hot end was a little better on the top layer.

I like your design for the E3D bowden extruder, but I like to print with flexible materials (Arnitel) and I don't think the bowden works well with those (I cold be wrong). The lighter weight bowden would be better for higher speed printing and less "bounce".

I'm sorry that I long to react. I was very busy.

I found the problem and it's not cool. It's original design filament pressure bearing arm.t It is mounted on only one bolt and very often this part breaks or bends, so that the bearing can not rotate. I work on a new design of the extruder.

For proof, that is not a problem with the cooling attach a photo of the part, which is printed in orange / red fibers with whom I had big problems even in the original Felix solution. Printing lasted 17 hours ( temp 207°C - normal quality). I enclose a photo of several other parts.
