I Have my Felix 2 in a Black Correx Board Enclosure to keep the Temperature stable & Keep dust + Moisture Out, but i was having Difficulty seeing how well the Extruder was doing during prints as it's Really Dark in the Enclosure.

Needed a Cheap Quick solution to see what was Happening.

I Would have made Satoer's Brilliant Light Bar if i had the parts .- Which i Will make in the Future :)

But I did Have some Ultra Bright 16,000MCD White L.E.D's - So Designed a Quick Fix.

It Has a 470 Ohm Resistor in the L.E.D Housing and is Supplied by 5V Line.

To Fit it Just Remove the Bolt from the Extruder door & Reaffix with Bracket

Might be of use to Somebody ?

Hi Mayhem :)

The Enclosure is Made from 4mm Black Plastic Correx Board, I Picked Correx Board as it's Really Easy to Build with & Has Great Insulation Properties due to its Hollow Centre Sections .

The Cost of making the Whole Enclosure was only About 5 Euros :)

Correx is great stuff for this sort of thing - I Used Epoxy Glue to Seal All Joints.

I Also Made a Correx Door That Closes it all off This Just drops on with Magnetic Strips.

Only tools i Needed was a Steel Rule & Craft Knife + Epoxy Glue :)

Hi Hoolito

Yes there is a Pattern emerging there,

I just Hope they Don't Start making Corrugated Filament :P
