You can also use Ikea clothes pegs. (PRESSA)

50 galvanized stiff steel springs for 1,49 euro. Can't beat that ;-)

I just printed out some cylinders to retain the loose springs. No problems since doing that.

I have been running with these in for a while now. Not had to re-adjust the hotbed since putting them in. Definitely worth doing.

Did you end up using Ikea peg springs or some other kind?

Standard springs that come with the printer. I just used a ring around them to keep them in place.
