Mac Users - Repetier Hangs on OSX 10.9.3

Post by z0rak » Thu May 22, 2014 2:18 am

I updated to the latest version of OSX Mavericks over the weekend, and since doing so, I've been unable to use Repetier host. After a couple of seconds, the Repetier UI hangs. Upgrading Repetier host to the latest had no effect. Anyone else having trouble?

I got it sorted eventually... There was a profile file that was corrupt and needed to be deleted before I could get it running again. Of course that's the one machine I've been having trouble getting Time Machine backups to run successfully on ;)

Agentmulder,

Here's the issue I posted on Repetier's forum... sounds like you may have already attempted this:

The following issue on github led me to the answer. As the last post states, you need to restart the mac after deleting the profile:

"defaults delete repetier.Repetier-Host-Mac logSplitterHeight"

worked straight away... no restart required (maybe i already had after deleting the profiles)

Awesome !

I wish google had found it :)

ps. that thread mentions adjusting the log window size is a cause - pretty sure I did that.
