Problem with hotend

Post by Regenmacher » Fri Feb 27, 2015 10:30 pm

Hello
I have a problem with a hotend.
There is much filament to side out there.

I've already taken it apart and cleaned, that has not helped.
I printed PLA with 210 degrees.

All other settings were standard.

Someone an idea?

Yours sincerely,
Manfred

The thread on the plastic PEEK part is probably damaged. Best solution is to buy a new PEEK. Or, if you want to fix it cheap and fast you can try to use Teflon-tape (the kind that plumbers use) on the treads of the metal hot-end. I've used it with some success and Teflon is quite heat resistant.
